Excited Visitor

A beautiful sunny day and I was looking down from the kitchen patio to check the clarity of G´s pool (what a cleaner I am!), when I noticed some fluttery action on the mini-bouganvillea which is in a pot at the pool-side.

Wow! a beautiful swallowtail butterfly that was going daft over the number of flowers it had discovered in one place. Unusually, it hadn´t been battered by the elements or predators and was in perfect condition.

He (she / it) stayed around long enough for me to get some video of him "making hay while the sun shone".

A beautiful little (actually quite big) thing.
